Gamblers Anonymous is a voluntary fellowship of people who help each other to overcome a gambling problem by sharing experiences and providing mutual support. It is an abstinence-based group program modelled on the principles and 12 Step recovery goals of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Pokies Anonymous

Pokies Anonymous is a self-help peer support organisation based on similar principles to Alcoholics Anonymous although as the name suggests, Pokies Anonymous is about helping people abstain from poker machine gambling only. Pokies Anonymous has regular meetings in Adelaide that are anonymous and incorporate the 12 Step recovery goals.
